WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2015
at THE BOULEVARD CLUB

We are truly excited to announce that The Boulevard Club will have $100,000 that we will be able to give to St. Joseph's Health Centre, Mental Health Emergency Services Unit and to Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre. It was an amazing evening of acrobatics, champagne, auctions, raffles and compelling speeches with friends, old and new. We are thankful to have our own community of Members that strive to make a definitive difference.

Two deserving organizations:

St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation is very pleased to be part of this year's An Evening in Paris Gala fundraising event. Proceeds we receive from this fabulous event will support a critical priority at St. Joe's - redeveloping our new Mental Health Emergency Services Unit.

This dedicated space is where men, women and children in crisis go for immediate help to alleviate panic, stress and anxiety when they arrive in Emergency. It’s a terrifying time and it’s why renovating this unit to make it safe, private and therapeutic is so important – our teams are committed to providing the best care in an environment that supports our neighbours returning to the best health.

Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre is honoured to be a local charity beneficiary of Boulevard Club’s An Evening in Paris Gala! Your generous support to PARC will continue to fuel our Community Meal Program; because it all begins with a healthy meal.

At PARC, healthy meals do so much more than just fill mouths. 70,000 meals each year bring individuals through the door and make them members of a community, they open up the table to conversations and new friendships and they create a path to everything else PARC staff and members do together to help rebuild lives. As a mental health agency, we work together with St. Joe’s and Boulevard Club and many more community partners to collectively create a welcoming and healthy community right here in Parkdale-High Park.
