In The Spotlight: Barb Morin

Everyone on the Master's circuit knows that Barb Morin is crazy about badminton. She has been playing Master's Championships for years and even was the co-chair for the 2000 Sunlife Canadian Master's Badminton Championships hosted by The Glencoe Club in Calgary. She won 2 Canadian Master's Titles in 55+ Women's Singles in 2002 and 2003. Recently she returned from Miami with gold in the 60+ Women's Doubles and the 55+ Women's Doubles as well as a silver in the 60+ Women's Singles. A bigger honour was given to Barb as the recipient of the Kelly Tibbetts Award for Sportsmanship, given to the female player that best represents the spirit, sportsmanship and essence of Badminton.What great recognition for a very deserving athlete!
