This course is based on the CYA Learn to Sail curriculum. During this session, sailors will be introduced to the sport of sailing on our Mosquito Optimist sailboats. Sailors will learn how to rig, helm a boat, trim a sail, as well as learn the names of typical boat parts. Sailors will also learn supporting skills such as basic knot tying and introductory sail theory.

No prior sailing knowledge is required, however, your child must be comfortable in the water. Your child will work towards CYA White Sail Levels I to III.
