Ages 7-12
The Junior Lifeguard Camp gives your child the opportunity to
have fun, improve overall swimming ability, and learn new water
sports.
Swim stronger, faster and have way more fun! Led by
qualified and experienced Aquatics staff, the Junior Lifeguard
Camp offers a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts,
games, special events, and a swim program based on the
Lifesaving Society’s Junior Lifeguard Club. Campers will receive a
waterlog to track their personal best in skills, first aid and rescues.
Water activities range from stroke correction to relay races and
shadowing lifeguards. Campers will go swimming twice a day in a
safe, fun and controlled setting where they get fit, make friends,
and have a great time.
Pre-requisite: Participants should be able to swim front crawl
for two lengths of the pool comfortably (Red Cross level 6). |
